Taking the notion of the Common, presented by Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt as a shared ecosystem of resources, knowledge and practices, Parallaxes: Common Stories brings together texts which accompany the projects of the Porto Design Biennale, and which seek to uncover possibilities for resistance and joy. Through narrative, fable and essay, seven writers and an illustrator observe and imaginatively shape the life of the spaces, ideas and people of vital importance to the cities of Porto and Matosinhos.
