This photo book is nostalgia for a lost past that never existed, shifting into longing for a future that will never come. An analogue, "printed" Instagram, evoking both a chuckle and phantom pains of reminiscence. The book is compiled from a personal archive of photographs of Moscow from 2015 to 2021, particularly of the district of Perovo. Still, it also includes photos of other places that make up this elusive sense of "home". Alisa wanted to deconstruct this feeling and reassemble familiar, innocuous and, in some areas, naive images to get in touch with the experience of loss through them.
