Hidden Rung is a new solo project by the wandering wizard, Matthew Linares. Matthew's no stranger to GMT fans though, as a member of Pataphysical with whom we released their highly acclaimed album 'Hapticality' last year. People yearn to break the stasis of existence; "Happier" is a pensive mood board of attempts to go beyond. Melding dubby electronics, melodious incantation, plaintive calls, and inquiring dialogue, 'Hidden Rung' charts uncanny paths toward another self.
