A história dos destroços de um corpo construído que, no momento de confronto com o abismo, se desconhece. Os sons da violência, das entranhas de montanhas, dos canos da cidade, de memórias alheias, de fósseis animais, do nosso corpo embrião, do escuro e da mãe. Atavístico sugere uma narrativa de escuta, através de um exercício de síntese entregue a um conjunto de forças colossais que encurralam a pequenez humana no presente, o lugar único de estágio. Henrik Ferrara é músico e autor multidisciplinar sediado no Porto. A partir de um percurso que envolve projetos musicais como ATA OWWO + GUILLIO e performances do coletivo LickSickDick, apresenta agora este álbum profundamente inspirado pelo medo do desconhecido. Recentemente, desenvolveu o instrumento musical Crescente, uma das ferramentas expressivas que inclui na sua palete sonora, para além dos seus sintetizadores e máquinas de ruído DIY. A slow passage in the midst of storms. We are taken by the sounds and the boat, then by gravity, and finally by an imperative call from the Cosmos. The story of the wreckage of a constructed body that, at the moment of confrontation with the abyss, is unknown. The sounds of violence, of the bowels of mountains, of city pipes, of other people's memories, of animal fossils, of our embryonic body, of the dark and the mother. Atavistic suggests a listening narrative, through an exercise in synthesis delivered to a set of colossal forces that trap human smallness in the present, the unique place of stage. Henrik Ferrara is a multidisciplinary musician and author based in Porto. From a path that involves musical projects like ATA OWWO + GUILLIO and performances by the collective LickSickDick, he now presents this album deeply inspired by the fear of the unknown. Recently, he developed the musical instrument Crescente, one of the expressive tools he includes in his sound palette, in addition to his synthesizers and DIY noise machines
