CHICO is a Free soup mixed by NYC/Brussels producer Dilian, Porto's finest underground troublemakers from Favela Discos and José Pinhal Post-Mortem Experience Tito Frito and David Ole, and former sound boss of Café Oto, Cigarettes after Sex, now of Divide and Dissolve, Pedro Subtil. Made up of sessions for their 2025 performance in Serralves, acidic debussyan textures of drums, trumpet, and sax are processed and mixed live in an improvised homage to black metal recording styles. There will be a single run of recorded shows in Porto, Baleal, Barreiro and Lisbon to support the release of CHICO, now available on Favela Discos, exclusively on tape.
