All essays, interviews and stories circle around moments and movements of social and technological change that occurred in the last five centuries — in an attempt to make sense of our current moment. Issue 004 questions the concepts of progress that are at the root of what and how we eat today. With topics ranging from hippie food to Mildred Pierce and from gluttony to video games, the eclectic subject matter is reflected in the magazine’s graphic design. Created by Junshen Wu, Sandra von Mayer-Myrtenhain and Yannic Moeken. Design by Marie Lautsch, with illustrations by Gemma Wilson.
