This album celebrates the 20th anniversary of Tren Go! Sound System. And what a beautiful and joyful ride ride it has been so far. Can't wait for what's next! The usual guitar, pedals and loopstation combination was the creative drive and composition method but somewhere along the way, in what may be called a middle age crisis, I got a sampler instead of a sports car and started remixing myself. At the same time, local politics got in the way of music as me and hundreds of other local musicians were locked out of our practice room building for security reasons. And as many of us did, I brought some essential gear home. One of the direct consequences was realizing I couldn't play loud anymore which inadvertently led to making music in a different way. Reacting to this limit is present throughout the whole album, even in a re-surfaced 17 year old song like Falling UFOs.
